Become a Member

As an Artist

The mission of our organization is to provide an exceptional showcase for artists from the Quebec and international scene who bring musical traditions from here and elsewhere to life.

We warmly invite artists from the trad scene, especially emerging artists, to apply:

  • to be part of the 2022 Festival programming;
  • to perform at our other non-festival events (dance evenings, concerts, entertainment, etc.).

Criteria

  • It is essential that an important place is reserved for the fiddle, our flagship instrument, in your approach or in your training;
  • You must be a traditional artist or a traditional music ensemble.

To submit your application

Please send a complete application package to our artistic committee, including the following elements:

  • Name of the artist or group (please clearly indicate the name of the person who plays the fiddle in the group);
  • Presentation text (including a short presentation of each member);
    High definition photo(s) with clearly indicated photo credits (download link or WeTransfer link);
  • Link to a video extract of the concert (eg: YouTube);
  • Links to audio samples (eg: Bandcamp);
  • Website/Facebook page.

As a Volunteer

Our volunteers play a key role during the Festival and our various events, and we know it! We would like to recognize this work and thank you in advance for your invaluable contribution, which ensures the sustainability of our activities. All are welcome!
