Originaire de l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard, Anastasia DesRoches est une figure importante de la tradition acadienne insulaire, reconnue autant pour son jeu que pour son travail de transmission. Violoniste, compositrice et collectrice de répertoire, elle préserve et fait rayonner les compositions des violoneux de sa région. Sa classe de maître vous offrira une réjouissante introduction aux particularités stylistiques et au répertoire vivant de cette tradition unique.
Anastasia fera partie de notre équipe de quatre formatrices pour l’édition 2026. Ne manquez pas cette occasion d’apprendre directement auprès d’une musicienne aux racines profondément ancrées.

Hailing from Prince Edward Island, Anastasia DesRoches is a key figure in the Island’s Acadian fiddling tradition, recognized both for her playing and her work in preserving the repertoire. A fiddler, composer, and collector of tunes, she has helped safeguard and promote the music of her region’s fiddlers. Her masterclass will offer you a joyful introduction into the distinctive style and living repertoire of her unique tradition.
Anastasia will be part of our team of four instructors for the 2026 edition. Don’t miss this chance to learn directly from a musician deeply rooted in tradition.

Mandoliniste exceptionnel, Michel Bordeleau a marqué la musique traditionnelle québécoise par sa longue carrière au sein de nombreuses formations musicales. Reconnu pour la richesse de son timbre et la profondeur de son groove, il transmet avec générosité les fondements rythmiques, harmoniques et mélodiques de la musique trad. Une occasion rare pour les mandolinistes et les violonistes curieux de cet instrument d’apprendre auprès d’un musicien de grand talent.

Elle partage une approche à la fois authentique, nuancée et profondément ancrée dans les sources de la tradition. Sa classe de maître sera une immersion privilégiée dans les styles régionaux, le groove et l’interprétation propres à la tradition québécoise.
